WHere is a simplified take on a drink from the seasonal drinks list. Designed as a party-sized premix that is loaded with the flavours associated with holiday season, which makes it excellent for a holiday party. Save the extra syrup you can use for brunch beverages, sweets, or to mix more rounds of bikinis.

Yields 10 people
To make the Citrus Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (makes 850ml, serving 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
A few cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Method
Making the Syrup: Place every items into a saucepan, heat until it reaches a light boil, mixing so the sugar melts. Then, turn off the burner allowing it to reach room temperature entirely. Decant into an clean bottle, cap it keeping it in the refrigerator, it can be stored for about one month.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Mix the specified liquid ingredients in a large bottle, leave to sit for one hour, then strain best through cheesecloth, so it's completely strained.
To serve: Measure 85ml of your premix into a mixing glass containing ice, and agitate lightly for one minute until cold. Strain into an frosted cocktail glass or similar, top with the cranberries and finish with a quick spritz of the essential oil over the top.
